Lower School Summer STEM Academy
(for students entering Jr. Kindergarten-Grade 3)
Our Summer STEM Academy is a one-of-a-kind STEM-based program featuring a full day of STEM exploration. This unique experience creates an environment for students to discover science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics through material and concept exploration.
Topics of discovery focus on one area from the three branches of science which include Physical Science, Earth Science, and Life Science. Students will come to the STEM Lab daily to explore the area of focus by utilizing the scientific process to make discoveries. Collaboration through peer discussions, debates, investigation, and experimentation will take place as students use technological tools conduct experiments, record and analyze data, and form conclusions based on their discoveries.
This summer, we are offering two Summer STEM Academy programs—one for students entering Jr. K and Kindergarten and one for students entering Grades 1 through 3. Our Jr. K & Kindergarten program will be held at our Dublin West, Pleasanton East and West campuses while our Grades 1-3 program will be held at our Pleasanton East campus.
