- Please take note of any prerequisites required for courses. Students who do not meet course prerequisites will not be allowed to enroll in the course.
- You must have a copy of your student's most current report card/transcript to finalize registration.
Academic Demand: Summer Academy classes offered for credit are six weeks in length; a thirty-seven-week, yearlong course is condensed into this time period. As a result, courses are rigorous and demanding, with a heavy workload that includes weekly readings, several written assignments, daily homework, and multiple quizzes and exams. The content and curriculum can be challenging and often require a high level of critical thinking and analysis. The assignments are designed to test understanding of the material and to push students to think more deeply about the subject. The exams are difficult and require students to have a thorough grasp of the material.
