Our Summer STEAM Academy is a one-of-a-kind STEM-based program featuring a full day of STEM exploration. This unique experience creates an environment for students to discover science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics through material and concept exploration. 

Program Schedule: 

• Full day schedule: Monday through Friday; 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • Students entering JK or KDG - June 9 through August 8
    • Session 1: June 9-July 3 (Closed June 19 & July 4)
    • Session 2: July 7-25 
    • Session 3: July 28-August 8
  • Students entering Grades 1 through 3 - June 16 through August 8
    • Session 1: June 16-July 3 (Closed June 19 & July 4)
    • Session 2: July 7-July 25
    • Session 3: July 28-August 8
• Before and After Care available beginning at 7:00 am through 6:00 pm.

Summer Academy

(for students entering Grades 4-12)

Quarry Lane offers a comprehensive summer experience for students. Our popular Summer Academy offers academic enrichment and opportunities for students to receive credit for and advance in courses in the areas of math, science and the humanities.*

We also offer courses and programs designed to spark students' creativity, enhance athletic ability, and have fun.

Session dates: 

Our 6-week programs will run from June 16th through July 25th, 2025 (no instruction on June 19th and July 4th & 5th - Juneteenth and Independence Day observance). 

Our 3-week sessions will run on the following dates.

• 3-Week Session 1: June 16th-July 3rd
• 3-Week Session 2: July 7th-July 25th

Session Rates:

• 6-week session rate: $2,045
• 3-week session rate: $1,331

 

IMPORTANT:

• Please take note of any prerequisites required for courses. Students who do not meet course prerequisites will not receive credit for the course(s).
• You must have a copy of your student's most current report card/transcript to finalize registration. Additionally, if the current report card/transcript does not include a record of a course prerequisite, a record (report card or transcript) showing the prerequisite has been met must also be uploaded to finalize registration. 

• Academic Demand: Parent(s) understand Summer Academy classes offered for credit are six weeks in length; a thirty-seven-week, yearlong course is condensed into this time period. As a result, courses are rigorous and demanding, with a heavy workload that includes weekly readings, several written assignments, daily homework, and multiple exams. The readings can be challenging and often require a high level of critical thinking and analysis. The assignments are designed to test understanding of the material and to push students to think more deeply about the subject. The exams are difficult and require students to have a thorough grasp of the material.
