Our Summer STEAM Academy is a one-of-a-kind STEM-based program featuring a full day of STEM exploration. This unique experience creates an environment for students to discover science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics through material and concept exploration. 

Program Schedule: 

• Full day schedule: Monday through Friday; 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • Students entering JK or KDG - June 1 through August 9
    • Session 1: June 1-30 (Closed June 19)
    • Session 2: July 1-31 (Closed July 4)
    • Session 3: August 1-9
  • Students entering Grades 1 through 3 - June 17 through August 9
    • Session 1: June 17-July 5 (Closed June 19 & July 4)
    • Session 2: July 8-July 26
    • Session 3: July 29-August 9
• Before and After Care available beginning at 7:00 am through 6:00 pm.

Summer Academy

(for students entering Grades 4-12)

Quarry Lane offers a comprehensive summer experience for students. Our popular Summer Academy offers academic enrichment and opportunities for students to receive credit for and advance in courses in the areas of math, science and the humanities.*

We also offer courses and programs designed to spark students' creativity, enhance athletic ability, and have fun.

Summer Academy 2024 Session Dates:

 

Friday, June 14 - July 26, 2024 (no instruction on June 19th - Juneteenth observance and July 4th & 5th - Independence Day observance)

Session Rates:

6-week course: $1,985

3-week course: $1,292

3-week athletic sessions: $1,025

 

IMPORTANT:

• Please take note of any prerequisites required for courses. Students who do not meet course prerequisites will not be allowed to enroll in the course.
• You must have a copy of your student's most current report card/transcript to finalize registration.

• Academic Demand: Parent(s) understand Summer Academy classes offered for credit are six weeks in length; a thirty-seven-week, yearlong course is condensed into this time period. As a result, courses are rigorous and demanding, with a heavy workload that includes weekly readings, several written assignments, daily homework, and multiple exams. The readings can be challenging and often require a high level of critical thinking and analysis. The assignments are designed to test understanding of the material and to push students to think more deeply about the subject. The exams are difficult and require students to have a thorough grasp of the material.
