Kid Zone Before & After School Care
Created to provide before and after school enrichment, The Quarry Lane School offers Kid Zone, an after school program, during the school year at the Pleasanton East Campus. This program serves students in Kindergarten through grade five and includes transportation to and from some Pleasanton Unified School District (PUSD) public schools. (Students must be enrolled in an early start/early bird class in order to receive before school care and morning transportation. Before school care and morning transportation is not available to students with a late start/late bird schedule.)
The Kid Zone program engages students through STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) laboratories. STEM is an educational concept that emphasizes hands on, real-world experience and open-ended problem solving, with a focus on science, technology, engineering and mathematics while adding the arts. The goal is to engage students by sparking their interests. Students use educational websites in the computer lab. Students also participate in creative activities including writing, theatre, drama and art. Other enriching activities include: Homework Club, outdoor/cooperative games, cooking and library. Additional extracurricular activities offered through independent contractors are available to Kid Zone participants.

Our Pleasanton East Campus is open from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Faculty and Staff
We provide an after school environment that balances both play and enrichment. In addition to our quality faculty, the school size and low ratios make the difference. Drivers are trained and certified, and work as school staff within the program.
Tuition
Tuition and fees are paid on a monthly basis. The rates below include transportation. Please inquire about tuition credit if transportation is not needed or not offered to/from your public school.

Kid Zone Admission
To enroll in The Quarry Lane School Kid Zone, please fill out a registration form and admissions agreement, and submit them with the non-refundable/non-transferable first month's tuition and registration fee.
