Extended Care
Quarry Lane offers before and after school care for our Lower School students. Early morning care is from 7:00 am to the start of school, and after school care begins from dismissal until 5:00 & 6:00 p.m., depending on enrollment program. Enrollment for our Extended Educational Program is offered on a monthly-basis.
Quarry Lane’s Extended Educational Program gives students the opportunity to engage with their peers outside of the classroom atmosphere. Our program is separated by grade. Each class has one to three qualified teachers and its own space equipped with a variety of age-appropriate supplies and activities. In addition to having plenty of time and assistance for homework, the groups have a steady mix of extracurricular indoor and outdoor time. While inside, students participate in teacher-lead activities such as themed arts and crafts and exciting games including dance parties and scavenger hunts. Outside, students may choose to participate in chalk art, basketball, a friendly game of four square, and more. Our staff members ensure a safe and fun environment while promoting social-emotional growth by assisting in conflict resolution when needed.
