Student Life

Quarry Lane School Student Life

Quarry Lane offers a variety of opportunities that allow students to discover and pursue passions beyond the classroom while developing important social, emotional, and leadership skills. We believe these opportunities are essential to the well-rounded development of our students and in ensuring a balanced learning environment. From these opportunities, our students can carve their own path and make their Quarry Lane journey their own unique experience.

In terms of extracurricular activities, the Quarry Lane School has the perfect resources in order for students to create or develop their interests."

- Yuvraj Mahadeshwar, Quarry Lane alumnus '17, attending Dartmouth College

Quarry Lane School Community Building

Each spring, the Quarry Lane Upper School takes a pause in traditional instruction and designates an entire week for exploration, excursions and community building activities. This week, known as Intraterm, provides students with an opportunity for personal, social and emotional growth outside of the regular classroom setting through experiential learning experiences in a variety of settings.

Quarry Lane offers several travel opportunities during Intraterm and encourage students to take part in these experiences. During these trips, students form bonds with each other and share an immersive learning experience that enriches their overall education at Quarry Lane
