Dear Third Grade Families,
We look forward to implementing our dual-teaching platform and welcoming our third grade onsite learners to campus on Monday, February 22, 2021. Please see the important information and details regarding our campus reopening below. If you have chosen the onsite learning platform for your child, please take a moment to carefully review the following information. We will be hosting our Campus Reopening Parent Orientation on Tuesday, February 16th at 4:30 p.m. During this meeting we will share important information and outline our plans for welcoming students back on campus. Please note, this meeting is mandatory for families who have requested onsite learning.
Onsite EEP Afterschool EEP will be available to those families interested in signing up. At this time, we will not be offering early/before-school care. Due to the preparations required to safely accommodate EEP students, if you would like to enroll your child in afterschool EEP, please make sure to enroll him/her by, Friday, February 12, 2021. Students who are not enrolled by this date may not be able to enroll. Specific EEP information, including pick-up procedures, will be emailed to families who have enrolled in the EEP prior to our reopening date. Please note, in order to adhere to health and safety protocols, drop-in EEP is unavailable at this time.
Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedures Third grade students will drop-off and pick-up in the Zone 1 area noted in this campus queue. Drop-off and pick-up procedures have been modified to facilitate the safety measures established on campus. Please review the procedures noted in this document carefully before the campus reopening date.
Lunch At this time, we will not be offering our onsite food service for lunch. Please make sure to pack a light snack and a lunch for your onsite learner. Students may not share any personal items, including food items. Depending on the class/cohort schedules, lunches may be eaten in the classroom or in a designated outdoor space (weather permitting), or a combination of both. If your child forgets his/her lunch, please notify the Lower School Office and drop it off labelled with your child's name to the table outside of the Lower School Office.
Please continue to refer to our Information Hub and Path to Reopening Guide for up to date information. These resources are mapped out to best address all of the guidelines and protocols for a safe return to campus. As you have a chance to review these materials, we ask that you let us know if you have any questions that may not have addressed in the details available on the website.
