![]() Dear Jr. K-Grade 2 Families,
I hope you are doing well and staying safe and healthy. With heightened safety measures being taken throughout the state due to the increase in COVID-19 cases, we are taking a precautionary measure to close our campuses to students for the first two weeks following the holiday break. This means that all students will begin semester two on Tuesday, January 5th on our distance learning platform. Beginning Tuesday, January 19th (due to the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday on the 18th), students in Jr. K through Grade 2 who have selected the onsite learning platform may return to campus. As more information becomes available, we will communicate our plans for onboarding the other grades in the second semester.
The health and safety of our community is, as always, the top priority in our decision-making process, and we believe this precautionary step will help to ensure a safe return to campus for our onsite learners. However, as you know, even the best laid plans cannot be guaranteed in this climate of uncertainty and evolving information. To this end, please keep in mind that these dates are subject to change. We will continue to apprise you of any updates or changes to our plans and policies. Please continue to refer to our Information Hub for the most up-to-date information.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership.
Warmly, Shari Liebman JK-8 Director Quarry Lane School
