Information Hub

As Quarry Lane prepares in earnest for the 2020-2021 academic year, we remain committed to maintaining close communication with families. This Information Hub provides up-to-date information and resources, and will be updated accordingly as circumstances and public guidance evolves.

We have established a development committee comprised of both administration and faculty members to carefully and thoughtfully develop a comprehensive plan for a dual-teaching model that entails both on-site instruction, aligning with public health experts' social distancing, and other health and safety requirement, while simultaneously providing the distance teaching platform, which addresses the needs of families who are not yet ready to return to on-site instruction. As public guidance continues to shift and evolve, rest assured that we are preparing for every possible scenario to ensure an exceptional learning experience for our students, regardless of instruction platform, while prioritizing the health and safety of our community.

Helpful Resources for Families

The uncertainty of the times and unique challenges it creates can undoubtedly be overwhelming for many families. Below are several resources for our families to help cope, care for themselves and others, and keep children engaged and busy at home.

Distance Learning Highlights

County Waiver Update

As Quarry Lane continues with our distance learning platform for Grades 1-12, we are continually assessing our path forward with respect to our dual-teaching model and our students’ safe return to campus. We remain flexible and responsive to all available data as we execute this plan. Our decisions are guided by county and state guidelines, as well as the prioritization of the health and safety of our community.

To this end, we will continue to explore and assess all options available to us, including the county waiver program for elementary grade levels. Please note, we put the health and safety of our staff and students first, look to our state and county health officials’ recommendations to mitigate risk, and balance it with what is best for our students’ safety, education, and social- emotional wellbeing. At this time, we take comfort in the continued success and strength of our distance learning platform as we consider the options for a safe return to campus. We will keep our families and community apprised of any updates to this process.
