I'd say the dances because they were a great way to release stress and have fun with your friends.

What I'll Miss Most About QLS

The friends I've made since coming to Quarry Lane in the 9th grade.

Faculty Quote

"Faisal is a wonderful student. Thanks to him, all of us fall in love with the native indigenous culture of Bolivia. It is difficult to memorize the names of presidents but in this case, Evo Morales an Aymara Native American, the president of Bolivia is unforgettable. He promotes respect for indigenous human rights. Faisal was able to identify with the beauties of this country, the respect for the Earth, the 37 official languages- Spanish and 36 indigenous languages, the two capital cities, the Andean music, the colorful clothing of Bolivian traditions, festivals, and art crafts. His news and extensive investigation about this great country will be in our minds forever. Gracias Faisal, eres increible!"

-Ms. Ilva Salamanca, World Languages Department Head

"Faisal is a font of positive energy, quick to smile, always ready to participate, and has a sense of humor at once sharp and kindly."

-Dr. Lance Miller, English Instructor
