The Royal Cougar Theater Company delivered a clever adaptation of Aladdin to the stage this year for the annual spring theater production. Audiences were charmed by the dynamic performances which included dances by the Adaah Bollywood Dance Club and music from the QLS Jazz Band.
In this tale, adapted by Robert Neil Porter, Aladdin discovers a magic lamp and, with the aid of the Genie, wins the hand of the lovely Jasmine. But the evil Magician gains control of the lamp and instructs the Genie to bring the Princess to him in his palace putting everything into peril.
Bravo to all of our student actors, musicians, dancers, and stage technicians, as well as their fearless leaders: Mrs. Zabrowski, Dr. Liddell, and Dr. Lamberth!
