Key Concepts

Each day the curriculum will cover a key concept, for example, language, math, science, and motor skills.

Morning 
Circle Time

We will introduce the day's activities in morning circle and review the daily calendar and weather, participate in music, stories and sharing and introduce the monthly theme.

Story

Stories are introduced through dramatic play, felt board, puppetry, and poetry.

Small Group One

During the small group activities, children will be exposed to teacher directed as well as child centered activities in phonics, math, writing, science, social studies, and large and fine motor development.  Children will work from the classroom tables and one of the centers specializing in dramatic play, sensory, science, math, writing, art, listening or reading.

Small Group Two

AfternoonActivity

The afternoon activity is a hands-on activity that will coincide with the key concept scheduled for the day.

We offer special programs in library, music, Spanish and computer.  These programs vary for children at the preschool and pre-kindergarten level.
