Faculty and Staff

Mrs. Carrie Calonico is so excited to be teaching kindergarten for her second year at The Quarry Lane School. Previously she has taught first grade, second grade, and third grade in different schools in the Bay Area. She grew up in Walnut Creek and went to CSU Monterey Bay and received her Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in Early Childhood Development. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree she went to CSU East Bay and earned her Multiple Subject teaching credential. She believes that teaching is the most rewarding profession and feels especially lucky to be teaching here at The Quarry Lane School. Teaching is her passion and she always works hard to make sure her students have a fun filled learning experience and hopes to create life long learners. When she is not working you can find her watching hockey, baseball, or basketball. She also enjoys going to the beach or baking up a storm in the kitchen.
